About us
Natasha Godfrey
Director of Nature Play Learning
I am an experienced primary school teacher and mum. Taking my passion for providing children with the best chance to learn in a classroom to providing children and their families the best chance to learn and grow together has felt very natural. I love how being in nature - amongst the trees, listening to the birds, smelling the blossoms or the eucalypt and earth after the rain - is an immediately healing experience. It has the power to calm, promote mental health and clears the mind for other tasks.
I watch my girls in nature come into their true selves, find confidence in navigating tricky terrain and consider risky situations before taking action or seeking help. Children learn and develop authentically when given the space to do so, and I am so glad that I get to offer the experience of nature to other children, and to their families here at Nature Play Learning.
You’ll find me facilitating playgroups and teaching at bush kinder, or answering your emails on the side!

Jacqui Laird
Bush Kinder and Bush Playgroup Facilitator.
There is nothing more inspiring than watching a child discover the many wonders of nature. To sink deep into the elements and explore. My role is to foster, guide and empower their experience and to discover alongside them.
Our world is in the hands of our children. Our aim is to develop learners who care for their environment, who work and play sustainably and who understand how we are all connected by nature. If you would like to find out more about any of our programs or have a chat about nature play, we’d love to hear from you!
